THE BRAUN CORPORATION
The story of BraunAbility® begins with our founder, Ralph Braun. Ralph began building Tri-Wheelers in his parents’ garage under the name Save-A-Step Manufacturing Company in 1963. Since 1973, BraunAbility® has been building mobility products that give independence and freedom to millions of wheelchair users around the globe. Over the past four decades, BraunAbility® products have revolutionized what independence means to wheelchair users. Today BraunAbility® has over 1,000 employees, all working to grow mobility across the world. Ralph Braun passed away in 2013, but his legacy is still the driving force behind the BraunAbility® mission today.

Autoadapt was founded in 1996 and has since grown to one of the world’s leading manufacturers of car adaptation solutions for people with reduced or limited mobility. Today Autoadapt is represented in over 50 countries worldwide, with more than 300 trained Autoadapt dealers plus an additional network of about 700 subdealers.
